On March 31, 2008, Century Engineering, Inc., with principal offices located in Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia, acquired Benatec Associates headquartered in New Cumberland, York County, Pennsylvania, and its environmental subsidiary, EPSYS Corporation, headquartered in Harrisburg, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania. This latest expansion of Century brings more than 80 additional staff members to the firm, further bolstering its current Mid Atlantic states markets and establishing a prominence in the Pennsylvania market.
Combined with Century, Benatec will be a full service engineering firm offering transportation, civil-land development, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, structural, utilities, planning and landscape architecture, surveying, geo-technical and construction inspection. |
